  This restaurant was good, but I would not say exceptional. The food was well prepared and tasted great, however, the overall experience was not necessarily as entertaining as some other teppanyaki restaurants I have been to. The cooking experience seemed more practical and efficient as opposed to entertainment - which I often think is part of the appeal of going to a teppanyaki restaurant! The combo meals seem a little bit expensive but they are quite large portions. There are also options to order items individually, which is great for those with lighter appetites. The miso soup broth was very tasty and piping hot. The teriyaki sauce was also tasty and not too heavy/sweet. The staff were also very friendly and attentive.

  Should've read the reviews beforehand.  We're staying at the Delta hotel, so felt like keeping dinner close to the room.  
  
  Ordered the filet medallions, seared tuna and vegetables.  The filet was cooked to well-done after I asked for medium-rare and seared tuna was forgotten.  I asked the chef to re-cook the steak, which he did but was rude afterwards. Server was pushy and became rude as well.  
  
  Food quality not worth the price. Wouldn't go back.

  In fairness had the sashimi appetizer in the next door Stovins lounge
  
  Menu said 2 pieces of 3 fish, actually came with 3 pieces all for $10
  
  Fish was fresh, tuna, salmon and snapper

  Why should it take 1hr and 20 minutes to get food at this restaurant?
  There are 9 cooking tables yet only 2 chefs cooking THATS WHY!
  One of the chefs (male) came to our table and only made conversation and engaged with the family beside me and my friend. Totally ignored us and just cooked the food and slammed it on our plates. Service here is a disaster.

  Ordered take out from here. Had edamame beans, salmon sashimi and dynamite rolls. Everything tasted fine and was packaged nicely. However, there was only wasabi and ginger for the sashimi...none for the rolls. I also didn't realize until I got to the picnic table near the river that I decided to eat at that there was no soya sauce or napkins with my takeout order. :(  I would order from here again, but will make sure to check I have enough wasabi, soya sauce and napkins.
